10:5 イエスはこの十二人をつかわすに当り、彼らに命じて言われた、「異邦人の道に行くな。またサマリヤ人の町にはいるな。
10:6 むしろ、イスラエルの家の失われた羊のところに行け。
10:7 行って、『天国が近づいた』と宣べ伝えよ。
10:8 病人をいやし、死人をよみがえらせ、らい病人をきよめ、悪霊を追い出せ。ただで受けたのだから、ただで与えるがよい。
10:9 財布の中に金、銀または銭を入れて行くな。
10:10 旅行のための袋も、二枚の下着も、くつも、つえも持って行くな。働き人がその食物を得るのは当然である。
10:11 どの町、どの村にはいっても、その中でだれがふさわしい人か、たずね出して、立ち去るまではその人のところにとどまっておれ。
10:12 その家にはいったなら、平安を祈ってあげなさい。
10:13 もし平安を受けるにふさわしい家であれば、あなたがたの祈る平安はその家に来るであろう。もしふさわしくなければ、その平安はあなたがたに帰って来るであろう。
10:14 もしあなたがたを迎えもせず、またあなたがたの言葉を聞きもしない人があれば、その家や町を立ち去る時に、足のちりを払い落しなさい。
10:15 あなたがたによく言っておく。さばきの日には、ソドム、ゴモラの地の方が、その町よりは耐えやすいであろう。

10:7 行って、『天の御国が近づいた。』と宣べ伝えなさい。
10:8 病人を直し、死人を生き返らせ、らい病人をきよめ、悪霊を追い出しなさい。あなたがたは、ただで受けたのだから、ただで与えなさい。
10:9 胴巻に金貨や銀貨や銅貨を入れてはいけません。
10:10 旅行用の袋も、二枚目の下着も、くつも、杖も持たずに行きなさい。働く者が食べ物を与えられるのは当然だからです。
10:11 どんな町や村にはいっても、そこでだれが適当な人かを調べて、そこを立ち去るまで、その人のところにとどまりなさい。
10:12 その家にはいるときには、平安を祈るあいさつをしなさい。
10:13 その家がそれにふさわしい家なら、その平安はきっとその家に来るし、もし、ふさわしい家でないなら、その平安はあなたがたのところに返って来ます。
10:14 もしだれも、あなたがたを受け入れず、あなたがたのことばに耳を傾けないなら、その家またはその町を出て行くときに、あなたがたの足のちりを払い落としなさい。
10:15 まことに、あなたがたに告げます。さばきの日には、ソドムとゴモラの地でも、その町よりはまだ罰が軽いのです。

10:12 その家に入ったら、『平和があるように』と挨拶しなさい。
10:13 家の人々がそれを受けるにふさわしければ、あなたがたの願う平和は彼らに与えられる。もし、ふさわしくなければ、その平和はあなたがたに返ってくる。
10:14 あなたがたを迎え入れもせず、あなたがたの言葉に耳を傾けようともしない者がいたら、その家や町を出て行くとき、足の埃を払い落としなさい。
10:15 はっきり言っておく。裁きの日には、この町よりもソドムやゴモラの地の方が軽い罰で済む。」

10:5 These twelve Jesus
sent out and commanded them, saying: "Do not go into the way of the
Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans.
10:6 "But go rather
to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
10:7 "And as you go,
preach, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.'
10:8 "Heal the sick,
cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received,
freely give.
10:9 "Provide
neither gold nor silver nor copper in your money belts,
10:10 "nor bag for
your journey, nor two tunics, nor sandals, nor staffs; for a worker is worthy
of his food.
10:11 "Now whatever
city or town you enter, inquire who in it is worthy, and stay there till you go
out.
10:12 "And when you
go into a household, greet it.
10:13 "If the
household is worthy, let your peace come upon it. But if it is not worthy, let
your peace return to you.
10:14 "And whoever
will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or
city, shake off the dust from your feet.
10:15 "Assuredly, I
say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the
day of judgment than for that city!

10:5 These twelve men
were sent out by Jesus with the following instructions: "Do not go to any
Gentile territory or any Samaritan towns.
10:6 Instead, you are to
go to the lost sheep of the people of Israel.
10:7 Go and preach, "The
Kingdom of heaven is near!'
10:8 Heal the sick, bring
the dead back to life, heal those who suffer from dreaded skin diseases, and
drive out demons. You have received without paying, so give without being paid.
10:9 Do not carry any
gold, silver, or copper money in your pockets;
10:10 do not carry a
beggar's bag for the trip or an extra shirt or shoes or a walking stick.
Workers should be given what they need.
10:11 "When you come
to a town or village, go in and look for someone who is willing to welcome you,
and stay with him until you leave that place.
10:12 When you go into a
house, say, "Peace be with you.'
10:13 If the people in
that house welcome you, let your greeting of peace remain; but if they do not
welcome you, then take back your greeting.
10:14 And if some home or
town will not welcome you or listen to you, then leave that place and shake the
dust off your feet.
10:15 I assure you that
on the Judgment Day God will show more mercy to the people of Sodom and
Gomorrah than to the people of that town!
