13:10 それから、弟子たちがイエスに近寄ってきて言った、「なぜ、彼らに譬でお話しになるのですか」。
13:11 そこでイエスは答えて言われた、「あなたがたには、天国の奥義を知ることが許されているが、彼らには許されていない。
13:12 おおよそ、持っている人は与えられて、いよいよ豊かになるが、持っていない人は、持っているものまでも取り上げられるであろう。
13:13 だから、彼らには譬で語るのである。それは彼らが、見ても見ず、聞いても聞かず、また悟らないからである。
13:14 こうしてイザヤの言った預言が、彼らの上に成就したのである。『あなたがたは聞くには聞くが、決して悟らない。見るには見るが、決して認めない。
13:15 この民の心は鈍くなり、その耳は聞えにくく、その目は閉じている。それは、彼らが目で見ず、耳で聞かず、心で悟らず、悔い改めていやされることがないためである』。
13:16 しかし、あなたがたの目は見ており、耳は聞いているから、さいわいである。
13:17 あなたがたによく言っておく。多くの預言者や義人は、あなたがたの見ていることを見ようと熱心に願ったが、見ることができず、またあなたがたの聞いていることを聞こうとしたが、聞けなかったのである。
13:18 そこで、種まきの譬を聞きなさい。
13:19 だれでも御国の言を聞いて悟らないならば、悪い者がきて、その人の心にまかれたものを奪いとって行く。道ばたにまかれたものというのは、そういう人のことである。
13:20 石地にまかれたものというのは、御言を聞くと、すぐに喜んで受ける人のことである。
13:21 その中に根がないので、しばらく続くだけであって、御言のために困難や迫害が起ってくると、すぐつまずいてしまう。
13:22 また、いばらの中にまかれたものとは、御言を聞くが、世の心づかいと富の惑わしとが御言をふさぐので、実を結ばなくなる人のことである。
13:23 また、良い地にまかれたものとは、御言を聞いて悟る人のことであって、そういう人が実を結び、百倍、あるいは六十倍、あるいは三十倍にもなるのである」。

13:11 イエスは答えて言われた。「あなたがたには、天の御国の奥義を知ることが許されているが、彼らには許されていません。
13:12 というのは、持っている者はさらに与えられて豊かになり、持たない者は持っているものまでも取り上げられてしまうからです。
13:13 わたしが彼らにたとえで話すのは、彼らは見てはいるが見ず、聞いてはいるが聞かず、また、悟ることもしないからです。
13:14 こうしてイザヤの告げた預言が彼らの上に実現したのです。『あなたがたは確かに聞きはするが、決して悟らない。確かに見てはいるが、決してわからない。
13:15 この民の心は鈍くなり、その耳は遠く、目はつぶっているからである。それは、彼らがその目で見、その耳で聞き、その心で悟って立ち返り、わたしにいやされることのないためである。』

13:17 まことに、あなたがたに告げます。多くの預言者や義人たちが、あなたがたの見ているものを見たいと、切に願ったのに見られず、あなたがたの聞いていることを聞きたいと、切に願ったのに聞けなかったのです。
13:18 ですから、種蒔きのたとえを聞きなさい。
13:19 御国のことばを聞いても悟らないと、悪い者が来て、その人の心に蒔かれたものを奪って行きます。道ばたに蒔かれるとは、このような人のことです。
13:20 また岩地に蒔かれるとは、みことばを聞くと、すぐに喜んで受け入れる人のことです。
13:21 しかし、自分のうちに根がないため、しばらくの間そうするだけで、みことばのために困難や迫害が起こると、すぐにつまずいてしまいます。
13:22 また、いばらの中に蒔かれるとは、みことばを聞くが、この世の心づかいと富の惑わしとがみことばをふさぐため、実を結ばない人のことです。
13:23 ところが、良い地に蒔かれるとは、みことばを聞いてそれを悟る人のことで、その人はほんとうに実を結び、あるものは百倍、あるものは六十倍、あるものは三十倍の実を結びます。」

◆「種を蒔く人」のたとえの説明
13:18 「だから、種を蒔く人のたとえを聞きなさい。
13:19 だれでも御国の言葉を聞いて悟らなければ、悪い者が来て、心の中に蒔かれたものを奪い取る。道端に蒔かれたものとは、こういう人である。
13:20 石だらけの所に蒔かれたものとは、御言葉を聞いて、すぐ喜んで受け入れるが、
13:21 自分には根がないので、しばらくは続いても、御言葉のために艱難や迫害が起こると、すぐにつまずいてしまう人である。
13:22 茨の中に蒔かれたものとは、御言葉を聞くが、世の思い煩いや富の誘惑が御言葉を覆いふさいで、実らない人である。
13:23 良い土地に蒔かれたものとは、御言葉を聞いて悟る人であり、あるものは百倍、あるものは六十倍、あるものは三十倍の実を結ぶのである。」

came and said to Him, "Why do You speak to them in parables?"
13:11 He answered and
said to them, "Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of
the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.
13:12 "For whoever
has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does
not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.
13:13 "Therefore I
speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do
not hear, nor do they understand.
13:14 "And in them
the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says:'Hearing you will hear and
shall not understand,And seeing you will see and not perceive;
13:15 For the hearts of
this people have grown dull.Their ears are hard of hearing,And their eyes they
have closed,Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears,Lest
they should understand with their hearts and turn,So that I should heal them.'
13:16 "But blessed
are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear;
13:17 "for
assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see
what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear
it.
13:18 "Therefore
hear the parable of the sower:
13:19 "When anyone
hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one
comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received
seed by the wayside.
13:20 "But he who
received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and
immediately receives it with joy;
13:21 "yet he has no
root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or
persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles.
13:22 "Now he who
received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this
world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes
unfruitful.
13:23 "But he who
received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it,
who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some
thirty."

13:10 Then the disciples
came to Jesus and asked him, "Why do you use parables when you talk to the
people?"
13:11 Jesus answered,
"The knowledge about the secrets of the Kingdom of heaven has been given
to you, but not to them.
13:12 For the person who
has something will be given more, so that he will have more than enough; but
the person who has nothing will have taken away from him even the little he
has.
13:13 The reason I use
parables in talking to them is that they look, but do not see, and they listen,
but do not hear or understand.
13:14 So the prophecy of
Isaiah applies to them: /"This people will listen and listen, but not
understand; /they will look and look, but not see,
13:15 because their minds
are dull, /and they have stopped up their ears /and have closed their eyes.
/Otherwise, their eyes would see, /their ears would hear, /their minds would
understand, /and they would turn to me, says God, /and I would heal them.'
13:16 "As for you,
how fortunate you are! Your eyes see and your ears hear.
13:17 I assure you that
many prophets and many of God's people wanted very much to see what you see,
but they could not, and to hear what you hear, but they did not.
13:18 "Listen, then,
and learn what the parable of the sower means.
13:19 Those who hear the
message about the Kingdom but do not understand it are like the seeds that fell
along the path. The Evil One comes and snatches away what was sown in them.
13:20 The seeds that fell
on rocky ground stand for those who receive the message gladly as soon as they
hear it.
13:21 But it does not
sink deep into them, and they don't last long. So when trouble or persecution
comes because of the message, they give up at once.
13:22 The seeds that fell
among thorn bushes stand for those who hear the message; but the worries about
this life and the love for riches choke the message, and they don't bear fruit.
13:23 And the seeds sown
in the good soil stand for those who hear the message and understand it: they
bear fruit, some as much as one hundred, others sixty, and others thirty."
