20:1 さて、一週の初めの日に、朝早くまだ暗いうちに、マグダラのマリヤが墓に行くと、墓から石がとりのけてあるのを見た。
20:2 そこで走って、シモン・ペテロとイエスが愛しておられた、もうひとりの弟子のところへ行って、彼らに言った、「だれかが、主を墓から取り去りました。どこへ置いたのか、わかりません」。
20:3 そこでペテロともうひとりの弟子は出かけて、墓へむかって行った。
20:4 ふたりは一緒に走り出したが、そのもうひとりの弟子の方が、ペテロよりも早く走って先に墓に着き、
20:5 そして身をかがめてみると、亜麻布がそこに置いてあるのを見たが、中へははいらなかった。
20:6 シモン・ペテロも続いてきて、墓の中にはいった。彼は亜麻布がそこに置いてあるのを見たが、
20:7 イエスの頭に巻いてあった布は亜麻布のそばにはなくて、はなれた別の場所にくるめてあった。
20:8 すると、先に墓に着いたもうひとりの弟子もはいってきて、これを見て信じた。
20:9 しかし、彼らは死人のうちからイエスがよみがえるべきことをしるした聖句を、まだ悟っていなかった。
20:10 それから、ふたりの弟子たちは自分の家に帰って行った。
20:11 しかし、マリヤは墓の外に立って泣いていた。そして泣きながら、身をかがめて墓の中をのぞくと、
20:12 白い衣を着たふたりの御使が、イエスの死体のおかれていた場所に、ひとりは頭の方に、ひとりは足の方に、すわっているのを見た。
20:13 すると、彼らはマリヤに、「女よ、なぜ泣いているのか」と言った。マリヤは彼らに言った、「だれかが、わたしの主を取り去りました。そして、どこに置いたのか、わからないのです」。
20:14 そう言って、うしろをふり向くと、そこにイエスが立っておられるのを見た。しかし、それがイエスであることに気がつかなかった。
20:15 イエスは女に言われた、「女よ、なぜ泣いているのか。だれを捜しているのか」。マリヤは、その人が園の番人だと思って言った、「もしあなたが、あのかたを移したのでしたら、どこへ置いたのか、どうぞ、おっしゃって下さい。わたしがそのかたを引き取ります」。
20:16 イエスは彼女に「マリヤよ」と言われた。マリヤはふり返って、イエスにむかってヘブル語で「ラボニ」と言った。それは、先生という意味である。

20:8 そのとき、先に墓についたもうひとりの弟子もはいって来た。そして、見て、信じた。
20:9 彼らは、イエスが死人の中からよみがえらなければならないという聖書を、まだ理解していなかったのである。
20:10 それで、弟子たちはまた自分のところに帰って行った。
20:11 しかし、マリヤは外で墓のところにたたずんで泣いていた。そして、泣きながら、からだをかがめて墓の中をのぞき込んだ。
20:12 すると、ふたりの御使いが、イエスのからだが置かれていた場所に、ひとりは頭のところに、ひとりは足のところに、白い衣をまとってすわっているのが見えた。
20:13 彼らは彼女に言った。「なぜ泣いているのですか。」彼女は言った。「だれかが私の主を取って行きました。どこに置いたのか、私にはわからないのです。」
20:14 彼女はこう言ってから、うしろを振り向いた。すると、イエスが立っておられるのを見た。しかし、彼女にはイエスであることがわからなかった。
20:15 イエスは彼女に言われた。「なぜ泣いているのですか。だれを捜しているのですか。」彼女は、それを園の管理人だと思って言った。「あなたが、あの方を運んだのでしたら、どこに置いたのか言ってください。そうすれば私が引き取ります。」

◆イエス、マグダラのマリアに現れる
20:11 マリアは墓の外に立って泣いていた。泣きながら身をかがめて墓の中を見ると、
20:12 イエスの遺体の置いてあった所に、白い衣を着た二人の天使が見えた。一人は頭の方に、もう一人は足の方に座っていた。
20:13 天使たちが、「婦人よ、なぜ泣いているのか」と言うと、マリアは言った。「わたしの主が取り去られました。どこに置かれているのか、わたしには分かりません。」
20:14 こう言いながら後ろを振り向くと、イエスの立っておられるのが見えた。しかし、それがイエスだとは分からなかった。
20:15 イエスは言われた。「婦人よ、なぜ泣いているのか。だれを捜しているのか。」マリアは、園丁だと思って言った。「あなたがあの方を運び去ったのでしたら、どこに置いたのか教えてください。わたしが、あの方を引き取ります。」

20:1 Now on the first day
of the week Mary Magdalene went to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and
saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb.
20:2 Then she ran and
came to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and said to
them, "They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know
where they have laid Him."
20:3 Peter therefore went
out, and the other disciple, and were going to the tomb.
20:4 So they both ran
together, and the other disciple outran Peter and came to the tomb first.
20:5 And he, stooping
down and looking in, saw the linen cloths lying there; yet he did not go in.
20:6 Then Simon Peter
came, following him, and went into the tomb; and he saw the linen cloths lying
there,
20:7 and the handkerchief
that had been around His head, not lying with the linen cloths, but folded
together in a place by itself.
20:8 Then the other
disciple, who came to the tomb first, went in also; and he saw and believed.
20:9 For as yet they did
not know the Scripture, that He must rise again from the dead.
20:10 Then the disciples
went away again to their own homes.
20:11 But Mary stood
outside by the tomb weeping, and as she wept she stooped down and looked into
the tomb.
20:12 And she saw two
angels in white sitting, one at the head and the other at the feet, where the
body of Jesus had lain.
20:13 Then they said to
her, "Woman, why are you weeping?" She said to them, "Because they
have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him."
20:14 Now when she had
said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, and did not know
that it was Jesus.
20:15 Jesus said to her,
"Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?" She, supposing
Him to be the gardener, said to Him, "Sir, if You have carried Him away,
tell me where You have laid Him, and I will take Him away."
20:16 Jesus said to her,
"Mary!" She turned and said to Him, "Rabboni!" (which is to
say, Teacher).

20:1 Early on Sunday
morning, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that
the stone had been taken away from the entrance.
20:2 She went running to
Simon Peter and the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and told them, "They
have taken the Lord from the tomb, and we don't know where they have put
him!"
20:3 Then Peter and the
other disciple went to the tomb.
20:4 The two of them were
running, but the other disciple ran faster than Peter and reached the tomb
first.
20:5 He bent over and saw
the linen cloths, but he did not go in.
20:6 Behind him came
Simon Peter, and he went straight into the tomb. He saw the linen cloths lying
there
20:7 and the cloth which
had been around Jesus' head. It was not lying with the linen cloths but was
rolled up by itself.
20:8 Then the other
disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went in; he saw and believed.
20:9 (They still did not
understand the scripture which said that he must rise from death.)
20:10 Then the disciples
went back home.
20:11 Mary stood crying
outside the tomb. While she was still crying, she bent over and looked in the
tomb
20:12 and saw two angels
there dressed in white, sitting where the body of Jesus had been, one at the
head and the other at the feet.
20:13 "Woman, why
are you crying?" they asked her. /She answered, "They have taken my
Lord away, and I do not know where they have put him!"
20:14 Then she turned
around and saw Jesus standing there; but she did not know that it was Jesus.
20:15 "Woman, why
are you crying?" Jesus asked her. "Who is it that you are looking
for?" /She thought he was the gardener, so she said to him, "If you
took him away, sir, tell me where you have put him, and I will go and get
him."
20:16 Jesus said to her,
"Mary!" /She turned toward him and said in Hebrew,
"Rabboni!" (This means "Teacher.")
