20:18 「見よ、わたしたちはエルサレムへ上って行くが、人の子は祭司長、律法学者たちの手に渡されるであろう。彼らは彼に死刑を宣告し、
20:19 そして彼をあざけり、むち打ち、十字架につけさせるために、異邦人に引きわたすであろう。そして彼は三日目によみがえるであろう」。

to Jerusalem, took the twelve disciples aside on the road and said to them,
20:18 "Behold, we
are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief
priests and to the scribes; and they will condemn Him to death,
20:19 "and deliver
Him to the Gentiles to mock and to scourge and to crucify. And the third day He
will rise again."

he told them, "we are going up to Jerusalem, where the Son of Man will be

him to death
20:19 and then hand him
over to the Gentiles, who will make fun of him, whip him, and crucify him; but
three days later he will be raised to life."
