17:1 イエスはこれらのことを話してから、天を仰いで言われた。「父よ、時が来ました。あなたの子があなたの栄光を現すようになるために、子に栄光を与えてください。

17:2 あなたは子にすべての人を支配する権能をお与えになりました。そのために、子はあなたからゆだねられた人すべてに、永遠の命を与えることができるのです。

17:3 永遠の命とは、唯一のまことの神であられるあなたと、あなたのお遣わしになったイエス・キリストを知ることです。

17:4 わたしは、行うようにとあなたが与えてくださった業を成し遂げて、地上であなたの栄光を現しました。

17:5 父よ、今、御前でわたしに栄光を与えてください。世界が造られる前に、わたしがみもとで持っていたあの栄光を。

ＴＥＶ ヨハ 17:1-5

17:1 After Jesus finished saying this, he looked up to heaven and said, "Father, the hour has come. Give glory to your Son, so that the Son may give glory to you.

17:2 For you gave him authority over all people, so that he might give eternal life to all those you gave him.

17:3 And eternal life means to know you, the only true God, and to know Jesus Christ, whom you sent.

17:4 I have shown your glory on earth; I have finished the work you gave me to do.

17:5 Father! Give me glory in your presence now, the same glory I had with you before the world was made.
