17:6 世から選び出してわたしに与えてくださった人々に、わたしは御名を現しました。彼らはあなたのものでしたが、あなたはわたしに与えてくださいました。彼らは、御言葉を守りました。

17:7 わたしに与えてくださったものはみな、あなたからのものであることを、今、彼らは知っています。

17:8 なぜなら、わたしはあなたから受けた言葉を彼らに伝え、彼らはそれを受け入れて、わたしがみもとから出て来たことを本当に知り、あなたがわたしをお遣わしになったことを信じたからです。

17:9 彼らのためにお願いします。世のためではなく、わたしに与えてくださった人々のためにお願いします。彼らはあなたのものだからです。

17:10 わたしのものはすべてあなたのもの、あなたのものはわたしのものです。わたしは彼らによって栄光を受けました。

17:11 わたしは、もはや世にはいません。彼らは世に残りますが、わたしはみもとに参ります。聖なる父よ、わたしに与えてくださった御名によって彼らを守ってください。わたしたちのように、彼らも一つとなるためです。

17:12 わたしは彼らと一緒にいる間、あなたが与えてくださった御名によって彼らを守りました。わたしが保護したので、滅びの子のほかは、だれも滅びませんでした。聖書が実現するためです。

17:13 しかし、今、わたしはみもとに参ります。世にいる間に、これらのことを語るのは、わたしの喜びが彼らの内に満ちあふれるようになるためです。

17:14 わたしは彼らに御言葉を伝えましたが、世は彼らを憎みました。わたしが世に属していないように、彼らも世に属していないからです。

17:15 わたしがお願いするのは、彼らを世から取り去ることではなく、悪い者から守ってくださることです。

17:16 わたしが世に属していないように、彼らも世に属していないのです。

17:17 真理によって、彼らを聖なる者としてください。あなたの御言葉は真理です。

17:18 わたしを世にお遣わしになったように、わたしも彼らを世に遣わしました。

17:19 彼らのために、わたしは自分自身をささげます。彼らも、真理によってささげられた者となるためです。

ＴＥＶ ヨハ 17:6-19

17:6 "I have made you known to those you gave me out of the world. They belonged to you, and you gave them to me. They have obeyed your word,

17:7 and now they know that everything you gave me comes from you.

17:8 I gave them the message that you gave me, and they received it; they know that it is true that I came from you, and they believe that you sent me.

17:9 "I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those you gave me, for they belong to you.

17:10 All I have is yours, and all you have is mine; and my glory is shown through them.

17:11 And now I am coming to you; I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world. Holy Father! Keep them safe by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one just as you and I are one.

17:12 While I was with them, I kept them safe by the power of your name, the name you gave me. I protected them, and not one of them was lost, except the man who was bound to be lost-so that the scripture might come true.

17:13 And now I am coming to you, and I say these things in the world so that they might have my joy in their hearts in all its fullness.

17:14 I gave them your message, and the world hated them, because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world.

17:15 I do not ask you to take them out of the world, but I do ask you to keep them safe from the Evil One.

17:16 Just as I do not belong to the world, they do not belong to the world.

17:17 Dedicate them to yourself by means of the truth; your word is truth.

17:18 I sent them into the world, just as you sent me into the world.

17:19 And for their sake I dedicate myself to you, in order that they, too, may be truly dedicated to you.
