24:15 預言者ダニエルによって言われた荒らす憎むべき者が、聖なる場所に立つのを見たならば（読者よ、悟れ）、
24:16 そのとき、ユダヤにいる人々は山へ逃げよ。
24:17 屋上にいる者は、家からものを取り出そうとして下におりるな。
24:18 畑にいる者は、上着を取りにあとへもどるな。
24:19 その日には、身重の女と乳飲み子をもつ女とは、不幸である。
24:20 あなたがたの逃げるのが、冬または安息日にならないように祈れ。
24:21 その時には、世の初めから現在に至るまで、かつてなく今後もないような大きな患難が起るからである。
24:22 もしその期間が縮められないなら、救われる者はひとりもないであろう。しかし、選民のためには、その期間が縮められるであろう。
24:23 そのとき、だれかがあなたがたに『見よ、ここにキリストがいる』、また、『あそこにいる』と言っても、それを信じるな。
24:24 にせキリストたちや、にせ預言者たちが起って、大いなるしるしと奇跡とを行い、できれば、選民をも惑わそうとするであろう。
24:25 見よ、あなたがたに前もって言っておく。
24:26 だから、人々が『見よ、彼は荒野にいる』と言っても、出て行くな。また『見よ、へやの中にいる』と言っても、信じるな。
24:27 ちょうど、いなずまが東から西にひらめき渡るように、人の子も現れるであろう。
24:28 死体のあるところには、はげたかが集まるものである。
24:29 しかし、その時に起る患難の後、たちまち日は暗くなり、月はその光を放つことをやめ、星は空から落ち、天体は揺り動かされるであろう。
24:30 そのとき、人の子のしるしが天に現れるであろう。またそのとき、地のすべての民族は嘆き、そして力と大いなる栄光とをもって、人の子が天の雲に乗って来るのを、人々は見るであろう。
24:31 また、彼は大いなるラッパの音と共に御使たちをつかわして、天のはてからはてに至るまで、四方からその選民を呼び集めるであろう。
24:32 いちじくの木からこの譬を学びなさい。その枝が柔らかになり、葉が出るようになると、夏の近いことがわかる。
24:33 そのように、すべてこれらのことを見たならば、人の子が戸口まで近づいていると知りなさい。
24:34 よく聞いておきなさい。これらの事が、ことごとく起るまでは、この時代は滅びることがない。

24:17 屋上にいる者は家の中の物を持ち出そうと下に降りてはいけません。

24:19 だが、その日、悲惨なのは身重の女と乳飲み子を持つ女です。
24:20 ただ、あなたがたの逃げるのが、冬や安息日にならぬよう祈りなさい。
24:21 そのときには、世の初めから、今に至るまで、いまだかつてなかったような、またこれからもないような、ひどい苦難があるからです。
24:22 もし、その日数が少なくされなかったら、ひとりとして救われる者はないでしょう。しかし、選ばれた者のために、その日数は少なくされます。
24:23 そのとき、『そら、キリストがここにいる。』とか、『そこにいる。』とか言う者があっても、信じてはいけません。
24:24 にせキリスト、にせ預言者たちが現われて、できれば選民をも惑わそうとして、大きなしるしや不思議なことをして見せます。
24:25 さあ、わたしは、あなたがたに前もって話しました。
24:26 だから、たとい、『そら、荒野にいらっしゃる。』と言っても、飛び出して行ってはいけません。『そら、へやにいらっしゃる。』と聞いても、信じてはいけません。
24:27 人の子の来るのは、いなずまが東から出て、西にひらめくように、ちょうどそのように来るのです。
24:28 死体のある所には、はげたかが集まります。
24:29 だが、これらの日の苦難に続いてすぐに、太陽は暗くなり、月は光を放たず、星は天から落ち、天の万象は揺り動かされます。

24:29 「その苦難の日々の後、たちまち／太陽は暗くなり、／月は光を放たず、／星は空から落ち、／天体は揺り動かされる。
24:30 そのとき、人の子の徴が天に現れる。そして、そのとき、地上のすべての民族は悲しみ、人の子が大いなる力と栄光を帯びて天の雲に乗って来るのを見る。
24:31 人の子は、大きなラッパの音を合図にその天使たちを遣わす。天使たちは、天の果てから果てまで、彼によって選ばれた人たちを四方から呼び集める。」
◆いちじくの木の教え
24:32 「いちじくの木から教えを学びなさい。枝が柔らかくなり、葉が伸びると、夏の近づいたことが分かる。
24:33 それと同じように、あなたがたは、これらすべてのことを見たなら、人の子が戸口に近づいていると悟りなさい。
24:34 はっきり言っておく。これらのことがみな起こるまでは、この時代は決して滅びない。
24:35 天地は滅びるが、わたしの言葉は決して滅びない。」

when you see the 'abomination of desolation,' spoken of by Daniel the prophet,
standing in the holy place" (whoever reads, let him understand),
24:16 "then let
those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
24:17 "Let him who
is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house.
24:18 "And let him
who is in the field not go back to get his clothes.
24:19 "But woe to
those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days!
24:20 "And pray that
your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath.
24:21 "For then
there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of
the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.
24:22 "And unless
those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect's sake
those days will be shortened.
24:23 "Then if
anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or 'There!' do not believe it.
24:24 "For false
christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to
deceive, if possible, even the elect.
24:25 "See, I have
told you beforehand.
24:26 "Therefore if
they say to you, 'Look, He is in the desert!' do not go out; or 'Look, He is in
the inner rooms!' do not believe it.
24:27 "For as the
lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming
of the Son of Man be.
24:28 "For wherever
the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.
24:29 "Immediately
after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will
not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the
heavens will be shaken.
24:30 "Then the sign
of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth
will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven
with power and great glory.
24:31 "And He will
send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together
His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
24:32 "Now learn
this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and
puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.
24:33 "So you also,
when you see all these things, know that it is near-at the doors!
24:34 "Assuredly, I
say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things
take place.
24:35 "Heaven and
earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.

24:15 "You will see
"The Awful Horror' of which the prophet Daniel spoke. It will be standing
in the holy place." (Note to the reader: understand what this means!)
24:16 "Then those
who are in Judea must run away to the hills.
24:17 Someone who is on
the roof of a house must not take the time to go down and get any belongings
from the house.
24:18 Someone who is in
the field must not go back to get a cloak.
24:19 How terrible it
will be in those days for women who are pregnant and for mothers with little
babies!
24:20 Pray to God that
you will not have to run away during the winter or on a Sabbath!
24:21 For the trouble at
that time will be far more terrible than any there has ever been, from the
beginning of the world to this very day. Nor will there ever be anything like
it again.
24:22 But God has already
reduced the number of days; had he not done so, nobody would survive. For the
sake of his chosen people, however, God will reduce the days.
24:23 "Then, if
anyone says to you, "Look, here is the Messiah!' or "There he is!'-do
not believe it.
24:24 For false Messiahs
and false prophets will appear; they will perform great miracles and wonders in
order to deceive even God's chosen people, if possible.
24:25 Listen! I have told
you this ahead of time.
24:26 "Or, if people
should tell you, "Look, he is out in the desert!'-don't go there; or if
they say, "Look, he is hiding here!'-don't believe it.
24:27 For the Son of Man
will come like the lightning which flashes across the whole sky from the east
to the west.
24:28 "Wherever
there is a dead body, the vultures will gather.
24:29 "Soon after
the trouble of those days, the sun will grow dark, the moon will no longer
shine, the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers in space will be driven
from their courses.
24:30 Then the sign of
the Son of Man will appear in the sky; and all the peoples of earth will weep
as they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great
glory.
24:31 The great trumpet
will sound, and he will send out his angels to the four corners of the earth,
and they will gather his chosen people from one end of the world to the other.
24:32 "Let the fig
tree teach you a lesson. When its branches become green and tender and it
starts putting out leaves, you know that summer is near.
24:33 In the same way,
when you see all these things, you will know that the time is near, ready to
begin.
24:34 Remember that all
these things will happen before the people now living have all died.
24:35 Heaven and earth
will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
